The AFA is seeking expressions of interest for World of Apnea (AIDA) and CMAS World Championships, both pool and depth. All Australian athletes that are current members of the AFA are encouraged to submit their interest. If EOIs surpass the available spots, selection will follow the AFA By-Laws (available on this website).
If you are interested in representing Australia in any of the events, please fill out the Expression of Interest forms before 11.59pm AEST Wednesday, 2nd of April 2026 sharp; however we strongly advise you to submit your nomination earlier. Results from Australian Pool Nationals 2026 that will be held on 27-30th of March will be considered in the team selection. If you submit an EOI prior to Nationals and achieve a new PB at Nationals, new PB will automatically override previous PB and will be accounted in team selection.

PLEASE NOTE that for AIDA / World of Apnea Pool WCH, Australian team will have a Priority Registration open until 7th of April, not 31st of March – as a part of agreement with AIDA International to allow for results from Australian Nationals to be counted in.
